What is Tarotpolitan?

Tarotpolitan is an online platform created by myself, Maje Sodiz, with the purpose of providing a space for psychic Tarot readings, esoteric art, and well-being resources. It is also a space for inspiration, connection, and creativity. At Tarotpolitan, you can benefit from my private one-on-one consultation, which can be conducted over the phone or through email.

Paid services, including one-on-one consultations, can be booked in advance, with a variety of time slots available (ranging from 20 to 90 minutes per session). My time zone is GMT, and private phone sessions can be booked Monday to Thursday (from 11 PM to 3 PM, and from 6 PM to 10 PM), as well as on Sunday (from 6 PM to 10 PM). For email readings, you can request a consultation at any time, and a response will be provided within 1 to 48 hours, depending on the reading you have selected.

The Tarot and Psychic services offered at Tarotpolitan are mediums for both understanding and healing, as well as for receiving insights about future probabilities

You can also benefit from my free resource page. I cover various topics such as divination, cartomancy, numerology, astrology, mythology, Hermeticism, and alchemy. I delve deeper into subjects related to the psyche, art as a spiritual and healing medium, and the holistic and integrative approach to wellbeing. I expect you to participate by leaving your comments on each blog you read.

I regularly update content and supportive material via the internet and on social media platforms. I also host a free public event, almost every full moon, for networking and working together on a particular subject using Tarot and other esoteric tools. If you are interested in my work, please check my psychic Tarot community space for updates and subscribe to my email list and newsletter.

Why Tarotpolitan?

Tarotpolitan came to life, first and foremost, as a personal desire to put together all that I know through my personal and previous professional experiences; all that I am today; and all that I want to be in a purposeful manner. This project is a space where I can dedicate myself entirely to bringing together my spirituality, creativity, and healing practices in a way that is useful and practical to share with all of you.

Secondly, through all my years of experience as a psychic Tarot reader, I have realised the need for more accessible information in the form of blogs, handouts, and other practical materials relating to self-care and self-awareness. I wish to provide ways to educate on the art of divination since many people still possess negative or misguided thoughts about Tarot.

Another important reason for creating Tarotpolitan was the need to facilitate a community of what I call “like-hearted, open-minded, and open-spirited” individuals that come together with a purpose: to do the work – individually and collectively. Together, we are always stronger.

Tarot Community

Join Tarotpolitan Psychic Tarot Community to access information about free social events (held almost every full moon), handouts, updates, and a wealth of resources to participate.

Our events promote spiritual initiation and magic, as well as practical rituals, astrology, mythology, numerology, oracles, and the Tarot, the star of all stars. We always aim to reconnect with the psyche and heal the mind-body-spirit connection.

Connection, not only with others but also with oneself, is one of the main focuses of Tarotpolitan. To reach this goal, we must be willing to work. I am referring to the work involved in taking responsibility for oneself with the objective of loving ourselves in a way that benefits and betters not only ourselves but also others and everything around us.

We can only care for others and receive the same from the outside world when we are already doing it with ourselves, or at least working towards achieving it. As a psychic Tarot reader, I am here to assist you in creating a great space for yourself.

Who is Maje Sodiz?

Who am I?

The definition of who I am could be a cliché, a label, or a mask… who I deeply feel I am is different; sometimes conditioned, but different. We all suffer from the same constrained syntaxes and definitions: categorization, classification, and even discrimination as soon as we are born. Gender, forenames, class, religion, colour, IQs, education, nationality, orientation, appearance, youth and beauty, personal status (with children or childless), achievements and success, health and wealth, political ideals, psychological personality traits, and more.

In spite of all of that, I do believe we are far more than what society makes us believe we are or what we should be. The essence of who we are is what’s important. The persona is ever-changing as it should be; personal and collective events can change us, and they can even change our personality, but our essence is evergreen.

I am definitely far more than the size of my pants, how big my bank balance is, the titles I have earned or not, and even if I am in love with someone in particular or not. And you, my dear friend, are far more too.

I am here to find a way to show you that you are more, that we are definitely more than a heartbreak, a trauma, or any turmoil we might be experiencing right now. Or that perhaps, we don’t have to be anything at all, or to be approved by someone else, or to fit somewhere. In the end, it is all really about finding a comfortable place in the space of balance. And comfortable, my dear, does not mean perfect.

The Wheel of Fortune

My essence is playful, empathetic, and kind. I love a good sense of humor, art, philosophy, ecology, spirituality, science, and many other beautiful things. I have always been inclined to see more, to see beyond my eyes. As a child, I saw someone standing in the middle of the room, while my brother could not see him at all. Growing up, I had many premonitory dreams and remote visions.

My essence is curious, and it wants to find truth and fairness. My essence was broken many times since I was a helpless child, but my essence knew that I had to overcome and be free. I am a Tarotpolitan, an animated person with an essence, a mind, a spirit, a body, and a soul. I am someone who speaks through symbols, colours, and archetypes. I am a Tarot interpreter who uses my psychic ability and intuition to conduct readings. I am your spiritual life coach.

On another level, the astrological level, I could define myself by describing that I have my Sun in Capricorn and my Moon in Libra; this astrological combination confers me the gifts of intuition and keen judgment, but also of being able to cooperate with others with a very humane attitude. My Mercury is in Capricorn, stimulating a pragmatic type of idealism, or in other words, I can be described as an optimistic dreamer who tends to be quite realistic and practical at the same time.

My Venus is in the deep waters of Scorpio, which can trigger my inner passion and willingness to get to the core of something, avoiding shallow relationships and situations altogether. Having my ascendant in Aries and Mars in Gemini adds to my character in openness, brightness, and a sparkling personality.

My Journey to Tarot

I have a very long Spanish name that I have simplified to be Maje Sodiz. I was born on a sub-tropical island called Tenerife, located northwest of Africa and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. As a child, my maternal grandmother used to take me to church, as well as to see the curandera (a healing woman) on occasion. I found her blessings, work, and environment – with the herbs, flowers, and saints’ pantheon of the traditional santiguadora (sanctifying woman) – to be much more compelling than the priest’s Sunday sermon.

Since I was young, I have had different supernatural experiences such as seeing people, shadows, premonitions, strong knowings, premonitory dreams, distant viewings, and emotional as physical sensations. Although I had these psychic experiences for many years, I never felt the call to explore them deeper.
My childhood was overwhelmed with trauma due to a highly dysfunctional family environment. As a result, I distanced myself from them as quickly as possible. This experience helped me grow to be independent, resilient, empathetic and understanding of other people’s afflictions.

“Our childhoods can leave a mark on our path, sometimes in a positive way, sometimes not. The most important thing I have learned from this is to be conscious of it and of what I can do in order to transform a certain experience into a valuable one.”

After leaving my family, I did adventured myself into full independence, work and travelling. I did that as much as I could for over eight years until I decided to come to London (UK) again, but this time to spend the summer while improving my English skills. My goal at this time was to get back to education. I also have developed an interest in Yoga and alternative medicines such as Chinese Traditional Medicine.

As my best scores in A levels were in Art and Literature, going to Art College was more than justified for me. I went on to achieve diplomas in Art & Design and in Fashion & Clothing. After that, I was accepted by two universities: London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Art. My interests at that time were focused on the arts, whether designing, sculpting or making props for visual display.

In the background there have being a strong parallel interest in dream interpretation and cartomancy, meditation and alternative medicine – but also in religious and political systems – and a lot of curiosity for other cultures and places. Just to give you an idea, my dissertation for university was titled ‘Religious Symbols in Contemporary Art’ and my final piece was a sculpture of the globe, where instead of continents, peninsulas, oceans and islands, there were made in relief – symbols and imagery from different religions and philosophies – according to their own geographic origin.

“I finally followed my spiritual call in a déjà vu moment, when I was actually healing, and going through a process that I call ‘from Trauma to Gamma’ states.”

My healing and spiritual calling really came in my thirties after dealing with many traumatic experiences, and then all of my traumas –old and new– came to the surface at the same time. Thanks to the financial crisis that started in 2008, my professional life was a disaster too, and I had a full-blown crisis that led me inwards. I dealt with my problems one by one and since then, I have been a proponent of integrative medicine and healing modalities that focus on reconnecting the psyche by healing the mind-body-spirit connection.

I call my own healing journey the process of “transformation from a state of Trauma to Gamma,” which means becoming awakened by overcoming painful experiences and increasing awareness of the self and our interactions with others. Becoming a professional psychic Tarot reader came much later than my spiritual calling. It was unexpected because I had not planned for it as part of my career expectations. I had been initiated in Shamanism, Reiki, Astrology, and Divination a decade before I started working professionally, but I had never considered offering the gift of divination and guidance, especially in a professional context.

Something else happened that pushed me further down my new path. It was when my friends, who introduced me to Pranic Healing meditation, invited me to spend a few days in the beautiful countryside of Wales. A full moon long weekend in a whimsical cottage, in good company, surrounded by nature, and relaxing next to a fireplace? Oh, what a perfect setting to bring my Tarot cards and read them to my friends! I said to myself, “What an inspirational moment that changed the course of my life!”

The reactions of my friends to the readings were unexpected; not only did they fully connect with the Tarot readings I was giving, but they also asked me if I had ever considered pursuing a career in a more spiritual environment. To be honest, I had never thought of it. My cards had been interpreted many times before in many different countries, but I had never thought I would take over that role.

“Looking back at a decade of being fully dedicated to being a psychic Tarot reader, and successfully at accompanying people with their own journeys, I feel proud to say that I can understand why it happened and that I am very glad it happened this way.”

Since I started working professionally, I have gone deeper underground into the esoteric roots of the psyche. I have read and studied Carl Jung’s approach to dream interpretation and shadow work, archetypes, and the collective unconscious memory. I have taken courses in counselling, healing modalities such as Theta, as well as Art in Therapy. Learning about mythology and alchemy as parts of the vast realm of Hermeticism has given me a whole new perspective that helps me go even deeper each time.

My Work Philosophy

As a highly skilled intuitive reader, I offer a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to divination. Drawing upon an array of powerful tools, including Tarot, Numerology, Oracle cards, as well as my own innate psychic abilities, such as Clairsomatic, Clairsentience, Clairvoyance, and Claircognizance, I am able to provide clients with insightful guidance and nuanced perspectives that can help them achieve greater clarity and understanding in their lives.

My readings are designed to be both evolving and predictive, giving you the information and insights you need to take action and move forward with confidence. While I cannot predict the future with absolute certainty, I can help you explore the possibilities that lie ahead, and offer guidance on how to best navigate any challenges or opportunities that may arise.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower you to make the most of your life by encouraging self-knowledge, understanding, healing, improvement, assertiveness, and empowerment. By cultivating a strong interconnection between our inner and outer worlds, we can unlock the full potential of our lives, and achieve greater levels of success, happiness, and fulfillment.

My Daily Routines

In my personal daily routine, I practice dream recording and interpretation, expressive writing through journaling, and positive affirmations. I love my daily Kundalini yoga practice, as well as conscious breathing and meditation. Herbalism and nutritious food from organic, fresh, seasonal ingredients are the base of my diet. I prepare and cook all of my food from scratch.

I also work on my artwork, reading, and research during the daytime, including checking the astrological forecast. In the evenings, I connect with my clients and provide them with accurate details, predictions, and my best performance so far.  Often, I do Sun and Moon gazing, which involves a contemplative staring of celestial bodies as a meditative and magical practice

When I have time, I do not miss the opportunity for mindful walks near the sea or in the countryside, or barefoot grounding in energetic, spiritual, or historical sites. I dedicate time to understanding myself and recognising somatic and metaphysical concepts of the mind, emotions, energy, and the physical body and material world. The way I work with myself and as a psychic Tarot reader have a similar essence and purpose, both of which aim to provide a sense of harmony and wholeness.
